Random information on the term “USSR”:

Marxism–Leninism is the ideology of a soviet state, based upon Marxism and Leninism, which was adopted by the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU) and the Communist International (Comintern). Josef Stalin originated the term “Marxism–Leninism”, which became general usage in the USSR after publication of the History of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks): Short Course (1938), an official textbook of soviet history.

The goal of Marxism–Leninism is the development of a socialist state through the leadership of a vanguard party (of professional revolutionaries) drawn from the politically aware working class who achieved class consciousness through the dialectics of class struggle. The socialist state is a dictatorship of the proletariat governed by vanguard-party democratic centralism, which Lenin described as “diversity in discussion, unity in action.” As such, the communist party is the primary force for the realisation of a communist state (of classless social-system and common ownership of the means of production) by management of the productive forces of science, industry, and technology.
