Random information on the term “Toss of a coin”:

In probability and statistics, a Bernoulli process is a finite or infinite sequence of binary random variables, so it is a discrete-time stochastic process that takes only two values, canonically 0 and 1. The component Bernoulli variables Xi are identically distributed and independent. Prosaically, a Bernoulli process is a repeated coin flipping, possibly with an unfair coin (but with consistent unfairness). Every variable Xi in the sequence is associated with a Bernoulli trial or experiment. They all have the same Bernoulli distribution. Much of what can be said about the Bernoulli process can also be generalized to more than two outcomes (such as the process for a six-sided dice); this generalization is known as the Bernoulli scheme.

The problem of determining the process, given only a limited sample of the Bernoulli trials, may be called the problem of checking whether a coin is fair.

A Bernoulli process is a finite or infinite sequence of independent random variables X1, X2, X3, …, such that

Random information on the term “FLIP”:

Flip Records was a record label that flourished in the 1950s, releasing rhythm and blues and doo-wop music by such artists as Richard Berry, the Six Teens, Donald Wood, the Elgins, and many others. Max and Lilian Feirtag operated the label in Los Angeles, California, and published music under the Limax Music trademark.

The biggest, most lasting success was Richard Berry’s original recording of his song “Louie, Louie,” which came out in 1957 (although it was only a regional hit and The Six Teens’ “A Casual Look” was much bigger national hit).

In 2000, Ace Records of England purchased the assets of the original Flip Records catalog, and has been releasing this vintage music for the CD market.
